FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT Galatians 5:22-23
16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19 THE ACTS OF THE SINFUL NATURE ARE OBVIOUS:
- sexual immorality,
- impurity and debauchery;
- 20 idolatry and witchcraft;
- fits of rage,
- selfish ambition,
- 21 and envy;
- orgies, and the like.
I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is
- 23 gentleness
- and self-control.
Against such things there is no law.
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
26 Let us not become
- provoking and
- envying each other.

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
6 There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,
10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues
11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
